The holiday has just began and anxiety has hit already tonight. We are having a very small dinner tomorrow with our 5 kids here at home, plus David’s mom and dad, and our best friends.
The food doesn’t concern me.
The demands don’t worry me.
But the kids being kids...fussing, joking, loudness can get to my sense of calm. However I know these are the moments and days where memories are made and I am thankful for the opportunity to be with 4 daughters and 1 son this year.
And for the next few minutes I’ll be hiding in my room for peace and quiet!
