I remember 26 years ago today it was Sunday, Pro-Life Sunday. I felt a special connection to that as I headed to the hospital at 7 that morning to be induced...it was time to meet our #2 baby. He came so fast the doctor was still in jeans, he had no time to get his scrubs on.
On that day my first son was born. That same day he became a "little brother" who was greatly loved by his big sissy. Just two years later he became a "big brother" when son #2 joined us. At the age of 9, he took the name of Christian. Over the years he has become the big brother to 6 other siblings. He has been an Uncle for over 11 years, now Uncle to 4 nieces and a nephew.
At 18, his title became graduate and full time worker. He is a dedicated employee at his same job since highschool graduation. Following that, he became "College Student" faithfully going at night to complete his degree. He also took some time off to gain the title of ALERT man after completing his childhood dream.
Over the last year, I have seen Josh have great concern, great compassion, and show great LOVE to his baby sister. He has made himself available to visit her after work, play with her at home, carry her around, and meet her every need. He gives unselfishly and loves deeply. I am so proud of who he has chosen to grow up and be.
