Millie and I got to enjoy some sunshine while we waited for a friend today. She had another good day. She talked her daddy into bringing home more “Berries” meaning the fruit and yogurt parfaits. Guess this is our new favorite for now. She again took her vitamins with no problem...except she demanded more (I didn’t give in!). However, I did offer her a small piece of *chocolate*
We prayed for a miracle which God granted in heaven. Daily we walk the path of grief, ever leaning on Jesus for our comfort.
Until we meet again Millie, always remember you are forever loved and missed!

Yogurt parfaits
Millie had another good day. She had to accompany me to OKC for a Doctor appointment this morning. She did great, even eating really well in the car. Her favorite is McDonalds Fruit Parfait. She ate 2 1/2 of them. We actually had to stop at another McDonalds to buy 3 more parfaits. When you find something she will eat, you stock up.
As for mama, the doctor confirmed an allergic reaction to Bactrim. I’ve been having fever, chills, and aches. The ladies of Shawnee Bible Church (
Grace
) chose to bless me with a beautiful floral arrangement. Thank you ladies! It’s so kind of you to take care of mama too. There are so many to say thank you to. We had a wonderful taco soup perfect for being sick.

Little Brother is now covered in a rash? Or bug bites?? Urgent care says no chicken pox but maybe bed bugs. No no and no! Please pray that’s not our next big hurdle. I don’t think we can do this too

Chemo Round 2, Day 2
Chemo Round 2, Day 2:
Millie’s day has been very routine. She got the treatment this morning and other than being whiny, she’s just been resting. Her tummy is hurting tonight but that’s is more her constipation issue. The GI Doctors set a plan to solve that and keep her moving.
Today she enjoyed painting in her water paint book. Later the Children’s volunteers brought a color with water book. She loves any “painting” project.
In other news, after another trip to the doctor today, we now have 5 of us on antibiotics for different issues. The kids had more what daddy had. I had to get a second antibiotic shot today. We are so ready to feel well so we can help Millie feel well.
Praises:
Millie is having few side effects of Chemo so far.
Daddy is starting to feel better
We are so grateful for YOU! Every comment, prayer, call, text, gift, food, and visit has been such a BLESSING of encouragement to us.
Prayers:
For all antibiotics and GI meds to kick in quickly
Pray that Millie’s blood counts stay strong. So far we have had no transfusions this round!
Pray that her remaining 3 days go smoothly. Lord willing we are done and home Sunday night.
