We prayed for a miracle which God granted in heaven. Daily we walk the path of grief, ever leaning on Jesus for our comfort. Until we meet again Millie, always remember you are forever loved and missed!

Chemo Round 2 complete

 Chemo Round 2, Day 5:

Look who is HOME!
Her appetite for salt has returned with a vengeance. She enjoyed lays potato chips, and then had dinner. Even drank on her own. However when I got the medicine in her mouth we ended up wearing more than we swallowed 🙄.
Praises:
💕our family is together again
💕she feels good and is mostly happy
💕she’s eating
Prayers:
🔹starting to tomorrow daddy and I administer a nightly shot to her sweet thigh. Whew! I volunteered to pinch the site while he mans the needle.
🔹Between Tuesday and Thursday her numbers will bottom out if they are going to. Day 7-10 is what they expect. Pray for fast recovery of blood counts.

No more oral medicine

Please pray hard tonight. Millie has decided not to take ANY medicine by mouth. Everything is a huge fight. She’s not eating or drinking either, but the meds are a big problem.

Praises:
💕still low chemo effects
Prayers:
🔹 medicine adversion
🔹Little Brother is now covered in a rash? Or bug bites?? Urgent care says no chicken pox but maybe bed bugs. No no and no! 🔥🔥 Please pray that’s not our next big hurdle. I don’t think we can do this too 😢😢
🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️update: So I’ve searched the beds and find nothing. Whatever is biting him is not a bed bug PTL!

Chemo Round 2, Day 2

 Chemo Round 2, Day 2:

Millie’s day has been very routine. She got the treatment this morning and other than being whiny, she’s just been resting. Her tummy is hurting tonight but that’s is more her constipation issue. The GI Doctors set a plan to solve that and keep her moving.
Today she enjoyed painting in her water paint book. Later the Children’s volunteers brought a color with water book. She loves any “painting” project.
In other news, after another trip to the doctor today, we now have 5 of us on antibiotics for different issues. The kids had more what daddy had. I had to get a second antibiotic shot today. We are so ready to feel well so we can help Millie feel well.
Praises:
💕 Millie is having few side effects of Chemo so far.
💕Daddy is starting to feel better
💕 We are so grateful for YOU! Every comment, prayer, call, text, gift, food, and visit has been such a BLESSING of encouragement to us.
Prayers:
🔹For all antibiotics and GI meds to kick in quickly
🔹Pray that Millie’s blood counts stay strong. So far we have had no transfusions this round!
🔹 Pray that her remaining 3 days go smoothly. Lord willing we are done and home Sunday night.
